ENGLISH OAK (medium) quercus robur |
This is the oak of the Druids and King Arthur's Round Table. Classified as a member of the "White Oak" group, English Oak, also known as Truffle Oak or Pedunculate Oak, features a classic oak for which becomes awe-inspiring as the centuries mount. The tree produces very hard timber wood. Planted closely together, English Oaks grow straight and tall and produce excellent and highly sought-after wood for wine barrel making. A tough as nails tree. |
